Oceanside California’s tourism board came to Libre for a brand refresh and update. We conducted extensive research as well as city-wide interviews with business owners, city officials and locals to better understand the core values and assets of this beachside city. Our journey began with redefining the brand hierarchy, strategically integrating this new category within Gordini&#8217;s esteemed portfolio. Embracing a fresh color palette, bespoke handwritten typography, and an intuitive icon system, we infused the brand with renewed energy and identity. Elevating the visual narrative, we introduced original pattern designs and a distinct photography style, seamlessly blending macro shots of the sock fabric with lifestyle and product imagery. Additionally, we meticulously engineered in-store experiences with eye-catching point-of-sale displays and packaging designs.
To ignite anticipation and ensure maximum visibility for the new product line, the Libre team dedicated countless hours to crafting compelling videos, advertising creatives, ambassador collaborations and email campaigns leading up to the highly anticipated October 2023 launch.
As the 2023/2024 winter season draws to a close, we are elated by the resounding success of the dual-layer socks. Not only did they emerge as top-selling SKUs at retail locations, but they also commanded an impressive 26% share of online sales. Remarkably, three of the socks claimed positions within the top five best-selling products throughout the entire winter season. With such remarkable results, we eagerly anticipate the continued growth and success of this innovative product category in the years ahead.

In the summer of 2022, Libre embarked on an exciting collaboration with Gordini, a renowned innovator in winter gloves, to pioneer their latest breakthrough: &#8216;dual-layer socks&#8217;.

We are thrilled to announce that Libre has won a total of 9 awards at the American Advertising Awards out of San Diego! This year, we decided to take on the challenge of entering the competition to see how our work stood up against the competition – and we are ecstatic to share the results!

This is a game changer in the marketing world for a number of reasons:
<ol>
<li>Elevates brand awareness</li>
<li>It allows brands to reach their national or global audience using a single tool</li>
<li>Brands can change messaging based on the location of the screen or time of day</li>
</ol>
There are some slight downsides that are to be expected:
<ol>
<li>The out-of-home ads will not be personalized</li>
<li>No Unique identifiers are used</li>
<li>No location data, however brands can reach people based solely on screen location</li>
</ol>
In Google’s announcement, they mentioned that marketers (I.E. Our team) will be able to activate, pause, and optimize these types of campaigns in near real-time via a single dashboard.
For all of us here at Libre, this is an exciting new tool that could be a big addition to large or localized brands, if you have the budget. Smaller brands may have a difficult time justifying the cost as the attribution will be difficult to measure tying back a ROAS. Either way, this is another reason why if you aren’t advertising on Google yet, you need to catch up.

On August 25th Google announced that they would now be offering out-of-home ads in Display and Video 360. Essentially what this means is that marketers and brands will now be able to effectively advertise through all of Google’s platforms.
