Since launching its new running sock category in early April 2026, Gordini has built meaningful momentum in a category that extends the brand beyond its traditional winter-performance roots.

Across the first four months of the launch, running socks quickly emerged among Gordini’s best-performing products online. The sock collection attracted more than 12,000 pageviews, while several individual sock styles rose to the top of the brand’s e-commerce rankings. The Men’s Farr Sock led all products with 117 units purchased and nearly $2,700 in revenue, followed by the Men’s Grafton Sock with 84 units and more than $2,000 in revenue. The Farr Sock 2-Pack, Signal Sock and Bolton Sock rounded out the site’s five highest-volume products during the period.

Paid social played an important role in building awareness and demand. From April through July, Meta campaigns generated 657,000 impressions, nearly 10,000 clicks and 280 attributed purchases. Performance strengthened as the campaign matured: in July, purchases increased 78% month over month while spend decreased 3%, driving CPA down 38% and increasing ROAS 59%. One of the campaign’s strongest-performing ads was built around straightforward product storytelling—a close-up of the running socks paired with lightweight-performance and 2-pack value messaging.

The launch also generated strong engagement through Gordini’s owned channels. The April launch email achieved a 76.5% open rate, while subsequent product and technology storytelling continued to generate exceptionally high open rates. A June “Gordini Socks vs. Other Socks” campaign produced a 92.4% open rate and 2.98% click rate, demonstrating sustained interest in the category beyond the initial launch.

Together, the results point to more than a successful product introduction. In four months, running socks established themselves as a meaningful new digital growth category for Gordini—generating product demand, creating new storytelling opportunities and giving the brand a platform to engage consumers beyond the winter season.
